You can delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time, using either method below. Both are free and lead to the same result: permanent deletion of your profile and synced content.
Option A — Delete inside the app (recommended)
- Open My Game List on your Android device.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account… and confirm.
The app signs you out immediately and queues your data for permanent deletion from our servers.
Option B — Request deletion by e-mail (no sign-in required)
If you lost access to the app or your device, simply send us an e-mail:
Subject: Account Deletion Request – My Game List
Body: the Google account e-mail address you used to sign in (e.g. your.name@gmail.com). No other information is needed.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (display name, public lists, reviews) — permanently deleted.
- Your game library, statuses, play sessions, ratings and collections — permanently deleted.
- Authentication identifiers linking the app to your Google account — removed.
Timeline & exceptions
Deletion is processed within 30 days of your request. Copies in encrypted backups are purged on the normal backup rotation afterwards. We may retain minimal records where required by law or to resolve disputes; these are never used to provide the service.
Data stored only on your device disappears when you uninstall the app or clear its storage — this does not require contacting us.
Changed your mind?
If you contact us before processing completes, we can cancel the deletion request. Once processing finishes, deleted content cannot be recovered.
